The first trip of the year is always exciting! We had 30 members hit the road to Crested Butte on December 8th for a long weekend of pre-Christmas skiing. Among the group were a handful of first timers with our club. The snow conditions in early December are always iffy, but we lucked out! We arrived to flurries and received over 30 inches of powder while we were there. There were several bluebird mornings to enjoy all the fresh snow. As is customary on our December trip, we had a wine and cheese party in the lobby of The Plaza so everyone could mix and mingle to holiday tunes. We enjoyed 3 days of excellent early season skiing and got our snow legs ready for the remainder of the season. Thanks to all who attended and kicked off 2021-22 ski and snowboard season with a bang!
