We will continue to meet the first Thursday of each month, October thru March. For the 2010-2011 meetings we will be at the following two locations.

October 7th, 2010: South OKC Chamber of Commerce, 701 W I 240 Service Rd.

November 4th, 2010: The Stamp Store, 121 NE 40th Street, Upstairs.  

December 2nd, 2010: South OKC Chamber of Commerce, 701 W I 240 Service Rd.

January 6th, 2011: The Stamp Store, 121 NE 40th Street, Upstairs.

Febuary 3rd, 2011: South OKC Chamber of Commerce, 701 W I 240 Service Rd.

March 3rd, 2011: The Stamp Store, 121 NE 40th Street, Upstairs.

The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. We start off by enjoying a cold beer (free of course) or a coke and get to know new members or catch up with old friends. Usually by 7:30 p.m. or 7:45 p.m. we start with our “event” for the evening.

Ski trips or other events are often promoted with creative advertisements or skits, which can be quite entertaining. Sometimes we have guest speakers, and sometimes we just have food! Trip Captains are always present and usually tell everyone about their trip, if there is room, reasons to go on the trips, and any other information necessary. Overall, the meetings are very casual, and are intended to be fun as well as informative.

If you are new to the Club, the meetings can seem chaotic and perhaps a little intimidating. Don't worry, we all felt that way once. We will try our best to help introduce you to some folks and make you feel at home. But the real secret to getting to know people is to go on the activities, especially a ski trip. The groups are smaller and you have more chance to talk. So find an upcoming activity that you're interested in, and take the plunge!
